Sadick Adams eyes Top 4 with Chelsea

Berekum Chelsea skipper, Sadick Adams, has set his sights on a top-four finish after what he describes as a "good start to the season".

According to the 26-year-old forward, followers of the league did not give Chelsea a dog's chance at the start of the season but they had so far exceeded expectations, occupying sixth-place after playing only four games.

"So far, we are having a very good season lying sixth with one game in hand," Adams told the Graphic Sports last Monday on the sidelines of the PFAG ‘Life After Football Fund’ launch in Accra.

"No one was expecting us to be in such a  position because we don't have a lot of star names in our squad but with hard work and determination we will be in the top four at the end of the season", he added.

Adams also put his impressive goal scoring form, which has seen him score three goals in four matches down to his "never-say- die” spirit.

He said, "every striker's mission is to score goals and last year I was scoring goals in Saudi Arabia for Al-Feiha FC so it's not a new thing to be scoring goals here.”
