Satellites still on the block

The Black Satellites, which is under the able management of Coach Sellas Tetteh,  have named a 24- man squad for the Africa Youth Championship in Senegal next year.

The  Satellites who were bronze medallist at the last World Cup in Turkey maintained their status as one of the nation’s most successful sides in recent times when they beat Gabon 4-1 in Libreville, after a goalless draw game in Accra  to book a ticket to the African championship which kicks off in Dakar, Senegal in March 8  2015. 

They will  join hosts Senegal and six others,  Côte d'Ivoire, Nigeria, Zambia, Mali, South Africa and Congo for the tournament. 

The Satellites are in Group B together with Mali, Zambia and South Africa.
