Tennis: Spinners, new tennis sensation

Tennis new sensation, Tesano Spinners, have vowed to maintain their momentum in the ongoing Table Tennis League as they continue to improve and thrill in their weekly outings.

They have so far won all their matches in the last two fixtures of the competition and a fortnight ago whitewashed fourth-placed Navy 3-0 in an exciting encounter.

The relatively young team comprising youngsters such as Solomon Acquah, Augustine Baidoo, Godwin Aseku and captain Nathaniel Kwesi Somuah are currently confounding the big guns including Immigration, GRA and Prisons.

Team captain Kwesi Somuah told the Graphic Sports in an interview the team was gunning for the top three position on the league table.

“It is an arduous task and a difficult one but with determination and perseverance we can achieve that,” he stated confidently.

He affirmed the teams committment to the task and called on the supporters to remain faithful and steadfast to the team.

The youngster also made a passionate appeal to corporate bodies to help sponsor the team and ensure it carries out their dreams successfully.
