Softcare FM Manufacturing Co. Ltd. was crowned the Overall Best Industrial Company at the 14th Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) Industry and Quality Awards, a flagship event for celebrating excellence and innovation within Ghana’s industrial sector. 

The ceremony took place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.

The Awards was hosted by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry and the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA). 

The ceremony was graced by the Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, with Minister of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, and the Director-General of GSA, Professor George Agyei, also in attendance.

In her keynote speech, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang emphasized that this year’s awards focused on driving economic growth and national prosperity through targeted initiatives such as the 24-Hour Economy Policy. 

She also commended Softcare FM Manufacturing Co. Ltd for its outstanding performance, noting that its excellence contributes to Ghana’s economic development and strengthens the country’s position as a leading manufacturing hub in West Africa.

In addition to picking the event’s highest honour, Softcare FM Manufacturing Co. Ltd. also received the award for Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Company of the Year. 
This dual recognition solidifies the company’s position as a trailblazer in both industrial performance and community upliftment.

Softcare FM Manufacturing Co. Ltd., a Ghanaian-owned producer of diapers, wet wipes, and sanitary pads, has earned widespread acclaim for its unwavering focus on quality, affordability, and social responsibility.

Globally, in addition to its success in Ghana, Softcare has expanded its footprint across Africa and Latin America, establishing a sales network that covers over 30 countries. In Africa, Softcare had 8 production plants and 51 production lines as of April 30, 2025, which made it become the hygiene product manufacturer with the most production plants in Africa.
