DCI Microfinance supports displaced flood victims

DCI Microfinance has supported the displaced flood victims in Mepe, North Tongu District with 1000 mosquito nets.

A delegation from the company, led by Vincentia Malm and Reginald Grantson Neequaye, both esteemed Divisional Heads within the organization, visited the affected area to personally deliver the much-needed donation and to express their heartfelt sympathies to the victims.

The delegation's presence and the generous donation were warmly welcomed by the local community and government representatives, member of parliament of the constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwah, as well as the Chief and Queen Mother in the area, who received the donation on behalf of the flood victims.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Vincentia Malm, Divisional Head at DCI Microfinance, emphasized the company's commitment to making a positive impact on the communities it serves. She stated, 

"We stand with our fellow citizens in times of need, and this donation is a small but heartfelt gesture to provide some relief to those affected by the recent flooding. We believe in the power of collective compassion and solidarity."

Solomon Tetteh Adusu, Corporate Affairs Officer at DCI, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to help those in distress. 

"In challenging times like these, it's essential to come together and support one another. We hope these mosquito nets can provide some protection and comfort to the flood victims as they rebuild their lives," he said.

Mr Ablakwah, who has been actively involved in providing relief to the affected communities, commended DCI Microfinance for its swift response to the crisis. 

He said, "We deeply appreciate the kindness and generosity shown by DCI Microfinance. This donation will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of the flood victims."

The Chief and Queen Mother of Mepe also expressed their gratitude and extended their blessings to DCI Microfinance for its benevolent contribution to their community.
