PLAYBACK: Dr Edward Nartey Botchway: Absa MD shares insights on climbing the corporate ladder at PCH Hangouts
The 2025 edition of PCH Hangouts will feature Dr Edward Nartey Botchway, Managing Director of Absa Bank Ghana, as the keynote speaker.
Scheduled for tonight (Wednesday, March 26, 2025), at 6:30pm, the event will take place at ICGC The New Wine Temple, East Legon, under the theme: "Climbing the Corporate Ladder: Understanding The Seven Mountains."
PCH Hangouts is a renowned platform that fosters networking, mentorship, and business development discussions.
Dr Botchway, an accomplished banker with over 20 years of experience in finance, strategy, and leadership, is expected to share invaluable insights on navigating the corporate world.
Attendees will have a unique opportunity to engage with him directly, asking the all-important question: "What does it take to become an MD?" Inspired by the story of an ambitious young professional who once asked his MD the same question and ascended to the role within a decade, this session promises to be both engaging and inspiring.
Dr Botchway, who assumed his role as MD of Absa Bank Ghana in July 2024, brings a wealth of knowledge from his tenure at Ecobank, GCB Bank PLC, and Citi Savings and Loans.
His impressive credentials include a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Swiss Business School and membership in ACCA (UK) and ICA Ghana.
