Ebony's family begin investigations into leaked mortuary video
The family of the late dancehall songstress Ebony Reigns have started investigations into the circumstances that led to the leakage of a video of her naked corpse on social media.
According to her father, Nana Poku Kwarteng, who has already threatened legal action over the insensitive act, the family has sent a delegation to the Bechem Government Hospital (where the incident is alleged to have occurred), to inquire about the matter.
Mr Kwarteng in an interview with Citi FM said the family would not hesitate to sue the hospital if their investigations find them culpable for the leakage of the video.

"I have ordered my family members over there to the hospital because obviously, I am going to deal with that person that is involved.
He assured that a suit will be filed if it is proven that the video was recorded by staff of the hospital.
Meanwhile, Ebony's manager, Ricky Nana Agyemang aka Bullet has also expressed disgust over the video which he says will be dealt with after her funeral.
Speaking on Zylofon FM’s ‘Showbiz Agenda’ on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, Bullet said, “It is very bad. We need to give respect to the dead. We’ll surely take up the matter after her funeral and make sure whoever took those videos is punished.”
Ebony will be laid to rest on March 17 at the Independence Square in Accra.
