10 Must dos for a successful 2018
As we start the New Year, this is the best time to take stock of what happened last year and then plan for this year.
I have been doing this exercise for the past five years and looking back at what I accomplished or failed at helps me to mentally prepare for the New Year.

Write out five things you are most grateful for
Dr. DeMartini says ‘What you think about, you bring about.’
Melodie Beattie also said ‘Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for our today and creates a vision for tomorrow.’
Do not take the small things in life for granted. Everything (even the bad things) happens for a reason).
How many books did you read this year and what did you learn from each of them?
Reading is one of the easiest and simplest ways to broaden your scope of knowledge. Self-development is essential for personal and professional growth.

You must make it a point to read and educate yourself more this year.
Write out three sad events that happened to you and how they made you a stronger person
Everything happens for a reason. Even the bad things; God has a reason for letting them happen.
How you come out of that sad/unfortunate situation is what matters.

Write out five ways you helped/influenced others in 2017
You will be remembered not for your achievements/accomplishments but rather how you helped or touched others at their point of need.
Did you achieve any health goals?
Name at least three goals you achieved. Your health is your wealth.
