24 dead in Tamale-Buipe road crash

Twenty four persons have been confirmed dead
in a road crash that occurred on the Tamale-Buipe road in the Northern
Region Monday morning.
The 24 included 23 persons on a
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle with registration number AS 8931-12
traveling from Kumasi to Tamale and the driver of a KIA truck with
registration number AS 8833-11 traveling from Tamale to the Buipe
market.
The police explained that there was a head-on collision between the two vehicles.
The KIA truck, was said to be carrying cattle.
Two persons who sustained serious injuries have been rushed to the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
