Fiesta Royale Hotel wins two awards

The Fiesta Royale Hotel won two awards at the maiden Ghana Hotels Association (GHA) awards ceremony held in Accra.

The hotel won the Best Conference and Banqueting Team of the year and the Housekeeper of the year 2015 awards.

The Executive Housekeeper of the facility, Mrs Maude Larsey, received the awards on behalf of the facility.

The acting General Manager of the hotel, Mr Samuel Kingsley Addison, accompanied by Mr Theophilous Okai, the Cost Controller, and Mrs Joyce Mensah, Guest Relations Officer, were present to receive the award on behalf of the hotel.

GHA is the umbrella body of about 1,000 catering and accommodation facilities in Ghana. These include all the five-star and four-star-rated hotels in the country.

The initiative is aimed at recognising and celebrating the hard work of players in the hospitality industry.

Mr Addison thanked the organisers of the event for recognising their hard work in the industry and said such an honour would encourage others in the industry to adopt best practices to promote the sector.
