The Nkawkaw Fire Station Visibility Team rescued a three-year-old boy from drowning during a community engagement exercise at Nkawkaw Kwamang recently.
In a statement, the Ghana National Fire Service said the team spotted the child in distress in a stream near Access Pub and Restaurant while interacting with the facility's CEO, Madam Asantewaa, and swiftly intervened to save his life.
The GNFS said the timely rescue underscores its commitment to protecting lives during emergencies and routine public engagements.
