Four new #Covid-19 deaths, 55 new recoveries reported

The Ghana Health Service has reported four new #Covid-19 deaths, raising the fatalities to 22.
The latest update Saturday also has 251 new cases, mostly from the Greater Accra region, raising the national cumulative count to 4,263 and 378 recoveries. The previous count had the total national at 4,012 and recoveries of 323.

Meanwhile the Ghana Health Service is urging the continued observance of the health and safety protocols to curtail the spread of the disease.
The protocols include the following calls;
- Stay at home; Observe social distancing; Avoid handshaking
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, dispose the tissue in a closed bin, and then wash your hands.
- Always wear a mask particularly if you have to leave home
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects or surfaces such as remote controls and doorknobs.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
