Parliament's Finance committee sits on 7 collapsed banks
The Finance Committee of Parliament Wednesday began an in-camera probe into the factors leading to the collapse of seven local banks.

Officials of KPMG and Pricewaterhouse Coopers are scheduled to appear before the committee today, while officials of the Securities and
Exchange Commission and the National Insurance Commission will also appear before it tomorrow.
The BoG withdrew the
uniBank, the BEIGE, Royal and Construction banks and merged them into an entity known as the Consolidated Bank Limited.
The BoG appointed Nii Amanor Dodoo of KPMG as the receiver for the five banks.
