SUCRYZA donates GH₵100,000 to Covid-19 fund
SUCRYZA Distributors Limited, importers and distributors of rice and sugar in Ghana has donated GH₵,100,000 to support the Covid-19 Trust Fund in its efforts at ameliorating the negative impact of the pandemic on Ghanaians.
Presenting the cheque, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Nabin C. Pandey, commended the people of Ghana led by the government for their relentless efforts to support those affected and infected by the pandemic.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Covid-19 Trust Fund, Justice Sophia Akuffo, commended the company for the generosity to support the efforts to fight the pandemic and help the vulnerable and needy infected and affected.

She said soon Ghanaians would witness more activities of the fund which had been heralded by a distribution to the medical sector.
The Covid-19 Trust Fund Act was passed in March of this year. The Act established the fund to complement the efforts of the government in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is also to support the needy and the vulnerable who have been afflicted or impacted on by the pandemic and for related matters. It receives and manages contributions and donations from well-meaning individuals, groups and corporate bodies.
