"This constituency is a fishing community and I'm ready to lobby to build a mini harbour for the people when voted into office," Mr Anyankor said in an interview with the Daily Graphic.

"In my view, the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area has failed to live up to expectation despite her tole as the Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture".

Speaking about his vision for the constituency, the Road Engineer pointed-out that he is also looking at re-capturing the land from the Kpeshie Lagoon through to the Firing Squad area of the beach so he could develop hotels, ultra-modern markets, shopping malls and a social center among others to create employment for the youth of the constituency.

He will be contesting the Ledzokuku Constituency parliamentary seat with four other candidates on December 7th.
The aspirants are incumbent Mrs Benita Sena Okity-Duah of the NDC, Dr Okoe Boye of the main opposition party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), an independent candidate Stephen Quaye and Farharudeen Yakubu of the People National Convention (PNC).
