Adiyiah scores at last
Former AC Milan striker, Dominic Adiyiah, registered his first goal of the season after scoring in Arsenal Kiev’s 2-0 win over Karpaty.
The Ghana striker was introduced into the game in the 59th minute and spent little time in announcing his presence.
Adiyiah scored in the 60th minute to take the tally to 2-0 and in the process helped his club to secure their first victory of the season.
That was his debut match in the season after missing out on the first two matches of the 2013/2014 season.
The striker in the recent past hinted he could be parting ways Arsenal Kyiv after as he had struggled to hit impressive form.
The striker have had a frustrating sojourn including unpaid salaries which had come about because of the club’s financial woes.
“You know, Kyiv is a good place to live. I will be happy to stay here for a longer period but the situation is such that probably I have to leave,” Adiyiah was quoted as saying earlier in the year.
