Black Stars skipper, Asamoah Gyan, is set for a legal showdown with tough-talking legal practitioner, Dr Maurice Ampaw, over his media pronouncements regarding the alleged rape and unnatural carnal knowledge of Ampaw's client, Sarah Kwablah.
According to Mr Agyebeng, Gyan has been cleared of all of Sarah's allegations by the Attorney General's (AG) department and has directed his legal team to take action against anyone who defames him in respect of the issue.
Gyan's lawyers, Cromwell Grey LLP, represented by the managing partner, Agyebeng, who spoke at a press conference in Accra yesterday at which Gyan was absent, said the Attorney General's department had "concluded that the rape and unnatural carnal knowledge allegations made by Sarah Kwablah against Asamoah Gyan are totally baseless and that the docket should be closed".
