A well-organised Medeama SC side yesterday proved too strong for Accra Hearts of Oak, thumping the Phobians 2-0 in the ongoing GHALCA G8 tournament at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Goals from former Asante Kotoko and Great Olympics striker, Kwame Boateng, and Agyenim Boateng won the day for the ‘Yellow and mauve’ lads who played a well orchestrated strategy to frustrate the Phobians.
Hearts came into the picture in the second half, but found it difficult going round the Medeama defence.
Rahid Nortey of Medeama was adjugded man of the match.
