The referees are Prosper Adii, who officiated in the 2-2 drawn game between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Medeama FC in Kumasi, and Yaw Ametepeh, who handled the Inter Allies- Dreams FC encounter in Tema.

In the case of Referee Adii, he was reported to have abandoned his duties to his assistant during recess after claiming he had been threatened by the fans.

In an interview with the Daily Graphic on Monday, Nii Komiete Doku, Chairman of the RAC, said, "Both referees have been invited to the committee to explain why they conducted themselves in the manner as reported.

"We urge every referee to be decisive on the field of play in order not to bring the game into disrepute."

He said the committee would not condone any such acts from referees who failed to discharge their mandate on the field of play.
