Tema hosts O.A. Special golf today

The second edition of the O. A. Special (Hon. Owusu Adjapong) golf competition tees off at the Tema Country Golf Club (TCGC) today, a release signed by Mr Nicholas Amoah, manager of the club, has said.

Members and players of sister clubs are expected to participate in honour of Mr Owusu Adjapong.

It will be played in accordance with rule 6-3, where players must be ready to play five minutes before their starting time.

Penalty for breach of rule 6-3 is disqualification (at the discretion of the committee penalty of two strokes).

The 18-medal play, comprising scratch play, seniors, men and women handicap, as well as groups, is being sponsored by Zipnet.

Tee-off time is 6:30a.m and entry fee is GH¢50.

Special prizes, including a trip to the Ikeja Golf Club in Nigeria, and others are at stake.
