Speaking to the media at the 30th anniversary of Aviance Ghana Limited at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in Accra, its Managing Director (MD), Mark Kamis, said the company was committed to leverage technology to enhance its services.
The anniversary was launched to take stock of the company’s contribution to the country’s aviation industry.
It was attended by representatives from Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), airlines and other stakeholders.

Mr Kamis said the strategic integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as artificial intelligence, would revolutionise the customer experience, enabling seamless and efficient interactions with Aviance Ghana's services.
He said by leveraging AI-powered solutions, customers would benefit from personalised support and services, streamlined processes and reduced wait times, enhanced convenience through digital channels and improved issue resolution and feedback mechanisms.
He said the company was on the cusp of achieving unprecedented success, poised to become the most renowned and sought-after aviation company in the industry's history within the next few years.

He said this bold vision was underpinned by the company's unwavering commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, strategic investments in cutting-edge technology and infrastructure, and expansion of services and operations to meet growing demand,

Mr Kamis stated that the ground handling industry was experiencing a significant surge, with Ghana emerging as a prime destination for major airlines.
He said the imminent entry of prominent carriers like Virgin Atlantic into the Ghanaian market next year underscores the country's growing appeal and burgeoning demand for aviation services.
He said Aviance Ghana's 30-year milestone was a testament to the company's resilience, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

He said despite navigating numerous challenges and hurdles throughout its history, Aviance Ghana has emerged stronger and more determined, thanks to the tireless efforts and dedication of its staff and management.

Significant steps
The MD stated that Aviance Ghana has taken significant steps to expand its reach and ensure accessibility for all Ghanaians.
He said the company has secured licenses to operate in Kumasi and Tamale airports, a strategic move that would facilitate seamless travel experiences for citizens across the country.
“Aviance Ghana will also be handling services for the Kumasi-Garrick airlines, as well as domestic and military private jets.
“This development underscores the company's commitment to catering to diverse customer needs, from commercial airlines to private and military operators,” he added.
