Company introduces colour scanner for large files
Christ Cares Limited, a plan printing company, has introduced its AO colour scanner onto the Ghanaian market with the ability to scan large files and save in a small size format.
With this new scanner, people can scan their documents and save them on a pen drive no matter its size.

The Managing Director of the company, Mr Justice Adadevoh, told the Daily Graphic that Christ Cares was the first to introduce it in the country, and added that it would bring a lot of convenience to people who normally handle huge documents.
“In this age where everything is going digital, you can scan all your building documents onto a disc or pen drive instead of carrying them about considering the fact that they are bulky,” he said.

He said with the help of the scanner, people could now “keep their business in their pockets” and they would not have to worry about challenges of using the traditional filing system to store their documents.
Although he admitted that going digital came with its own challenges, he advised that “you have to know the importance of what you are saving. Protect it because it is better than carrying large files around.”
On who were their target audience, Mr Adadevoh said contractors, those with the archives department, the survey department, town and country planning, architects, engineers as well as anyone who handled large documents.
He said the scanner could equally be of benefit to people abroad as their local building plans could be scanned and sent to them via email instead of sending the whole documents which came with its own challenges and cost.
“This scanner is able to reduce large document from A0 to A4, with the colour still available, so we can scan the plan and send it by email abroad,” he explained.
Aside from its normal business of plan printing, the company also deals in used photocopier machines which it sells at reduced prices.
