Dr. Anarfi calls for individual empowerment to drive societal change

The CEO of PRIFE International Africa, Dr. Williams S.K. Anarfi has emphasised the pivotal role of empowering individuals in fostering societal transformation.

Speaking at the Global Entrepreneurs Awards 2024 in Akure, Nigeria, where he was honoured with the ‘Social Impact’ award, Dr. Anarfi urged stakeholders to focus on collaboration, innovation, and inclusion as catalysts for sustainable development.  

“True societal transformation begins with empowering individuals. When people are given the tools, knowledge, and opportunities to thrive, they naturally contribute to building stronger, more resilient communities,” Dr. Anarfi remarked during his acceptance speech.  

The three-day event, held from November 22-24, attracted over 5,000 participants and 20 million online viewers under the theme “Beyond Borders: Poverty Eradication through Entrepreneurship.” Attendees included Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mrs. Folorunso Alakija, and other influential global business leaders. The event featured discussions, workshops, and masterclasses aimed at offering practical solutions to global challenges.  

Dr. Anarfi highlighted the importance of teamwork and shared vision in driving meaningful impact. “This achievement reflects the strength of teamwork and shared vision. At PRIFE International Africa, we believe in creating opportunities for individuals to unlock their potential, which ultimately transforms society,” he stated.
