IT firm appoints new country director

Global Solutions Limited (GSL), an ICT and infrastructure services provider, has appointed Mr Olufemi Muraino as its new regional country director.

Mr Muraino will provide overall leadership and strategic direction to the organisation in order to achieve the company’s vision which is ‘to be the foremost ICT and infrastructure services provider in our markets.’

He will also ensure GSL maintains existing partnerships with the company’s global software and hardware partners as well as foster close communication with clients.

In a statement made available to the Daily Graphic, Mr Olufemi was quoted as saying his position would stimulate stable leadership delivery of end-to-end solutions spanning software, hardware, consultancy and managed services in the ICT industry to help its customers become most efficient and profitable in their markets.

He also said already the company had received the licence and authorisation to market and install Nautilus Hyosung range of ATMs in the country. The Nautilus Hyosung ATMs are the most dominant retail ATM in the United States and are being fast deployed in Nigeria.

Mr Olufemi also commended the National Investment Bank (NIB) on its successful migration to the world acclaimed core banking application platform, Temenos T24, which was deployed end-to-end by Global Solutions Limited, with a team made up of 90 per cent Ghanaians.

“This means our local team has been developed to deliver and support the Temenos application with little or no need for expatriate skills.”

Currently, several local banks, including the Central Bank and ARB Apex Bank, non-bank financial institutions, telecom and oil and gas companies, use the T24 application.
