MobileMoney LTD, the mobile financial services subsidiary of MTN Ghana, will tomorrow host the 2025 edition of its Fintech Stakeholder Dinner and Awards, an event designed to honour the partners and innovators who continue to shape Ghana’s fast-growing digital finance industry.
The ceremony, scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2025, will bring together leaders from across the fintech ecosystem, including regulators, aggregators, banks, merchants, agents, and technology innovators. This year’s celebration is being held on the theme “Celebrating the Power of Partnership and Service Excellence in Fintech.”
Speaking ahead of the event, Chief Executive Officer of MobileMoney LTD, Shaibu Haruna, said the awards night reflects the company’s appreciation for the partnerships that drive the industry’s progress.
“Our progress as an industry has always been driven by partnership — with aggregators, banks, regulators, merchants, agents, fintech innovators and millions of customers who trust the Mobile Money ecosystem every day,” he said. “The Fintech Stakeholder Dinner and Awards is our way of appreciating these relationships and recognising the people and institutions who continue to push Ghana’s fintech frontier forward.”
He reiterated MobileMoney LTD’s commitment to strengthening collaboration to build a more secure, innovative and inclusive digital financial space. According to him, the company intends to work even more closely with stakeholders to improve operational resilience, customer trust and national financial inclusion.
The annual awards ceremony has become one of the flagship platforms for acknowledging excellence within the digital finance sector. This year’s event will spotlight individuals and institutions whose work has contributed to expanding innovation, improving service delivery and enhancing compliance across the fintech value chain.
Awards will be presented in several categories, including Best MoMo Merchant, Best MoMo Agent, Overall Best Bank Partner and Overall Best Fintech Partner. Special recognitions will also be given to organisations whose contributions have played a strategic role in strengthening the national mobile money ecosystem.
Organisers say the evening will provide a unique platform for networking, knowledge sharing and celebrating success stories across the industry. It will also reinforce the call for deeper partnerships to sustain Ghana’s leadership in digital finance on the continent.
