Societe Generale launches promo to encourage

Societe Generale Ghana has launched a deposit mobilisation campaign dubbed: “The Power of 250” to encourage saving among its clients.

The campaign, which runs till the end of August, 2014, is to reward its loyal customers and the winner will receive GH¢75,000 as well as other consolation prizes. 

Speaking at the launch in Accra, the Head of Retail Banking at Societe Generale Ghana, Mr Kwaku Tweneboa- Kodua, explained that the promotion was part of a number of activities earmarked for 2014 to engage customers and attract new customers as well.

He said in line with this, the bank opened two new branches this year in Tema and Takoradi in line with its strategy to re-orient the distribution of its network to better serve its customers.

The Managing Director of the bank, Mr Gilbert Hie, said the bank wanted to use the promotion to instil the habit of saving in all their customers.

“The bank believes that saving does not only provide security for planned situation but also unforeseen circumstances. Societe Generale Ghana believes in the dreams of its customers and wants to help them achieve them.”

He also stressed that the bank would use the promotion to reach out to new customers for them to experience the quality of service being offered by the bank.

He said all individuals could participate in the promotion provided they have a savings account with the bank, adding there would be three raffle draws, two mini ones and a grand draw which would bring down the curtain on the promotion.
