It’s Ayerfor Dondoo from Jay Baba

Highlife artiste, Yahaya Alhassan, known in showbiz circles as Jay Baba, has been enjoying married life for almost five years now, and he has released a new song titled, Ayerfor Dondoo  to tell his story as a happy husband. 

Rendered in Hausa and Twi, the 3:57 song talks about the blessings of marriage to couples.

Citing his marriage as a reference case, Jay Baba sings about the blessings he has received ever since he found a help mate in his wife on Ayerfor Dondoo which carries a good message. 

He says because he is faithful to his wife and treats her right, God has blessed his handiworks and he has been successful with his “projects”.

On the song produced and mixed by Prezdoe Beatz in Elmina, Jay Baba counsels wives to strive to make their matrimonial homes comfortable for themselves and their spouses, since marriage is not always a requisite for happy life since “ it’s not a smooth journey”.

In an interview with Showbiz, Jay Baba said marriage is a divine institution and as such, many people who find themselves in it should be committed to make it a lifetime union.

The song which will be officially launched today, is already enjoying airplay on some radio stations.

The Central Region based artiste who has been doing music for almost a decade said he appreciates the music talents of highlife artistes such as Kwabena Kwabena, Amakye Dede and  Daddy Lumba and hopes to work hard so he could “ walk in their shoes”.

Jay Baba hopes Ayerfor Dondoo will give him ample recognition nationwide after his previous song, Sekina, which was released in 2014 gave him much publicity in the Central region.
