About 7 producers owe me. Why? - Kofi Adjorlolo fumes
Ghanaian actor Kofi Ajorlorlolo says the lack of respect for actors by movie producers has been the bane of the movie industry.
According to him, about seven movie producers owe him and other actors sums of money and have refused to pay.
In an interview on Joy News, the veteran actor expressed his displeasure at the treatment being meted out to him and his older colleagues.

"Old man like me they call me to come and work and they can't pay me. About seven producers, they owe me money...Why? About seven producers in Ghana here, they owe me monies. Why? And then I’m sitting at home and I’m hungry and when I’m sick nobody... look we have elderly people sick lying there and producers owe them; they don’t even give them money. Why?” he fumed.
He, however, failed to mention the producers whom he claimed owed him but said the amounts were in the thousands.
"All the big producers in Ghana some of them they owe me, [Gh¢]3000, [Gh¢]2000, [Gh¢]1000. Producers don't pay. Producers owe actors. As for the young actors they don't pay them."
"If the industry is not vibrant then the stakeholders must sit down and think and these same producers are the stakeholders and they keep talking. Meanwhile, they don't pay the actors," he added.
