Accra Gye Nyame Lions Club supports Dansoman Police Division

The Accra Gye Nyame Lions Club on Friday, December 1, handed over a new signpost and protective vests to the Dansoman Divisional Police Command in the Greater Accra Region in a commendable display of community support.

The gesture, aimed at bolstering the efforts of the police command, serves as both practical assistance and a morale boost for the officers committed to selflessly serving the community.

In a brief ceremony to hand over the items, the president of the club, Reagan Ohene highlighted Boakye that this act is part of the club's broader mission to give back to the community and support worthy causes.

"This gesture is our unwavering dedication to backing positive initiatives within our community. The new signpost and the official handover of protective vests to the Dansoman Divisional Police Command exemplify our commitment to enhancing the operational efficiency of the division. We believe that these contributions will not only facilitate the smooth execution of their duties but also serve as a source of motivation for our dedicated police personnel, encouraging them to further excel in their responsibilities," he stated.

The Divisional Police Commander, ACP Emmanuel Akonnor, expressed appreciation to the Club for the generous contribution.

He called on other benevolent organizations to follow suit and support the Dansoman Divisional Police Command, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in fostering a safer and more secure community.
