Being a person with dwarfism is my greatest blessing - Shatta Bandle

While being a little man may not be a thing of joy, for Ghanaian social media sensation and entertainer Shatta Bandle, his height has been his biggest breakthrough and blessing.

Speaking on the latest edition of ‘The Real Talk Podcast’ hosted by Elizabeth Essuman, he mentioned his unique stature shot to fame and he doesn’t regret being created that way.

“I believe being a person with dwarfism has been a blessing in disguise. It has taught me to be resilient, adaptable, and to think outside the box. My condition has also given me a unique perspective on life, which I believe has contributed to my success.

“I am always grateful to God for my height, well-being and so much more. Being a dwarf is not a curse; rather it’s a blessing because I am in a better space loved by my family, friends and fans,” he stated.

The happy-go-little man reiterated that he doesn’t get intimidated but have people loving him because of his confidence.

Dwarfism, also known as restricted growth, is a medical condition characterised by unusually short stature, generally defined as an adult height of 4 feet 10 inches (147 cm) or less, and results from a genetic or medical condition affecting bone and cartilage growth.

Shatta Bandle, whose real name is Firdaus Iddrisu, became an internet sensation following claims to be worth 9.6 billion dollars, which is more than the richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote. (Read ‘My money is working’ – Shatta Bandle says after fixing teeth)

Since then, he has been featured on several radio and television stations, including music videos and admired both in Ghana and Nigeria.

The conversation covered various aspects of Shatta Bandle’s life including his wealth and how he is handling fame.

He used the platform to entreat people to be wise in their spending since they were always difficult times in life.

“I’m always grateful for what life has offered me. There are people who see me and think I’m sad because of my height nut how I can be sad when I’m the happies person earth,” he said.
