'Bhim Concert' 2021 will be unforgettable - Stonebwoy
Last year, plans were far advanced for Stonebwoy's 'Bhim Concert' but unfortunately, it had to be cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thankfully the show is coming back this year and all is set for it to hold on Tuesday, December 21 at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center.
On Sunday, December 19, while waiting for the arrival of guest performer, Jamaican Dancehall artiste Beenie Man at the Kotoka International Airport, Stonebwoy told Graphic Showbiz in an exclusive interview that this year's concert will be an unforgettable experience.
“This year’s concert will be an unforgettable one. A lot has gone into it, it has been five years running of doing this show with this year included. Last year we could not do it because of COVID so this year we have to do it. That is one of the reasons we themed it "Bhim of Hope."
“We do not want people to see this event as just a concert but as a sign of hope that even in our distress, we can still find a reason to make merry, have fun and be happy. So, in general, this year’s concert means a lot to me,” he stated.

The Bhim Nation president also indicated his readiness to give patrons an amazing show.
“I'm very prepared, we have been rehearsing for a long time, in fact, it took us one year to put this together so we are very prepared. One thing we also took into consideration is that it is a global concert and that is why we decided to bring in one of Jamaica’s finest so far as Reggae and Dancehall is concerned in Beenie Man.”
He added that “inasmuch as this concert is happening, we also want to state that the COVID precautions will not be overlooked, it will be observed and will be taken seriously.”

Stonebwoy also revealed why he settled on Beenie Man as a guest artiste saying, “he is someone I have worked with, I love his music, and I respect him so much and like I said, because we were absent last year, the team and I wanted to make this year’s one to remember, a global one and we decided to bring him in.”
