
Davido, Stonebwoy, others to perform at Richard Quaye’s 40th b’day
NIGERIAN artiste, Davido and Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz will join a host of Ghanaian acts to perform at Richard Nii Armah Quaye, Founder and Board Chairman of Bills Microcredit’s 40th birthday party scheduled for the Independence Square, Accra on Saturday, March 22.
Top Ghanaian musicians billed for the celebration include Sarkodie, KiDi, Stonebwoy and Efya.
Already, the upcoming birthday celebration has generated loads of buzz, particularly on social media since the young entrepreneur announced the purchase of a custom-branded private jet and a high-end Bugatti Chiron on his Instagram page to mark reaching the ‘4th floor’ which falls tomorrow, Friday, March 21.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Richie Mensah of Lynx Entertainment, who is the project manager for the birthday bash mentioned Sarkodie, KiDi, Stonebwoy and Efya as the Ghanaian artistes billed to perform at the birthday bash.

With chart-topping songs such as Can’t Let You Go, Adonai, Country Side, U Go Kill Me, Sarkodie affectionately called the ‘Landlord’ by his followers is sure to bring on some good energy on the night.
He is the reigning TGMA Artiste of the Year and Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has shown his prowess as a great performer.
Patrons will be expected to dance to his popular songs such as Your Body, Into the Future, Everlasting and Nominate when he mounts the stage.
KiDi and Efya need no introduction when it comes to stage performances. Over the years, they have earned a good reputation for their stage presence.
According to Richard Mensah, he is excited about the upcoming event, noting that it is not just a celebration of a man’s life but equally a platform to enjoy good Ghanaian music.
“Davido and Diamond Platnumz have been billed for the party but I trust the Ghanaian artistes to dish out good entertainment on the day.
‘The move to host Ghanaian artistes speaks volume of the celebrant’s appreciation of our artistes and I know they are ready for the task,” he said.
