Every stage is important to me —Perpetual Didier
ANYTIME she gets the opportunity to mount the stage whether big or small, Gospel singer Perpetual Didier who now prefers to be called Aya gives her all.
This is because every stage is important to her since one might not know who is watching to make recommendations to the next event organiser.

Talking to Graphic Showbiz in an interview, Aya said, “some musicians regard small stages as not so important and will not kill themselves while performing, however, this same artiste will do whatever it takes to rock a bigger stage.
“For me, every opportunity one gets to perform must be considered crucial. Whenever I mount the stage, whether it is a private event such as an outdooring or a big concert, I put on my A-game. If I have to go with my band to a small event, I will do that and it has been like that with me over the years,” she said.
Going into what she has been up to lately, Aya announced the release of her latest single, Edenkema recorded by Dave Joy and produced by Lucci Money.
Edenkema is an Nzema word which literally translates as the ‘Creator’. On the song, Aya praises God for the gift of life which believes surpasses everything.
She disclosed she decided to sing about life because we should be thankful to God so far as we have life.
A line in the song goes like this, “If you have life, you have everything, you can become a millionaire if you have life, if you have life there is nothing in this world you cannot achieve”.

Edenkema is not a bad attempt by Aya who has been around for a while. The beat, how she flows on the song, how she begins and how ends it makes you want to listen to it again and again.
Touching on why she has decided to go by the name Aya, she said it is actually her real name. Aya is an Nzema name, it is my real name and I think it is simple and easier to pronounce than Perpetual Didier.
Aya who has three albums and five singles to her credit is currently signed unto Dave Joy Productions.
