Ama to screen at Goethe-Institut
Ama, a film directed by Dr Kwesi Owusu and Nii Kwate Owoo, will on Thursday, February 7, be screened at the Goethe-Institut in Accra.
The film, which was shot in 1991, is the story of an irrepressible 12 year old who becomes a medium for an ancestral prophecy and visitation.
She finds a computer disc by a lake in the English countryside which contains startling information.
Consequently, the ancestors reveal who she really is and send her on a “mission” to save her father from death and her brother from an impending disaster.
