If you make money legally, don’t be afraid to show others the way – Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has issued a stern warning to young people, particularly those in the ghetto, to steer clear of illegal activities and instead follow his path to making money legally.

In a recent Facebook post, Shatta Wale highlighted the importance of earning a living through legitimate means, cautioning that those who engage in illicit activities will face consequences.

He wrote: "If you make money legally like Shatta Wale, don't fear to show others the way. But if not legally and it's illegal, be careful. Ghetto youth, if you play, they will wipe you out. Ade tell you!! #GODISHERE🩸".

Shatta Wale's comments come amidst growing social media speculation linking him to alleged fraud cases, following the recent arrest of individuals, including Kofi Boat, by the FBI and the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) on accusations of online fraud and romance scams.

The Kakai hitmaker has vehemently denied any involvement in fraudulent activities, attributing his success to his music career and emphasizing his commitment to producing quality music.

He has also expressed frustration over what he perceives as unfair attempts to tarnish his reputation, suggesting that critics are motivated by jealousy.

Shatta Wale was granted bail of GH₵10 million with two sureties after being detained by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) in connection with a yellow Lamborghini Urus vehicle. (Read Shatta Wale granted GH₵10m bail after EOCO detention over Lamborghini case - Management)

He had presented himself to EOCO earlier in the company of his lawyer, Cephas Biyuo, to assist in ongoing investigations.

His management had mentioned that the inquiry was related to tax obligations on the luxury vehicle and the operations of the artiste’s company.
