According to him, though he has been doing music for a very long time, he couldn’t release an album due to poor handling of his career by his previous management.

Songs on the eight track album recorded at the Emustic Studios in Tema Community 2 are Adansedie, Meni Obia, Mahwe hwe mu, Meko Menim, Woahendie tim he, Agye wo nkoa and Me Nsan Mekye.

On Meni Obia, a praise song, Fada Ray sings about how he has been disappointed many times in his life and has put his trust in God because those he reposed his confidence in  have always been a disappointment.

For him, the answer to anyone’s “breakthrough” in life is to see the face of God in difficult times when they have lost hope.

He expresses his appreciation to God for his life on Mahwe hwe mu, a worship song which entreats everyone to surrender to God. He says God has always been faithful and would seek the welfare of those who reach out to Him in prayer.

All the songs were written by Fada Ray with Esther Afriyie, Philomina Nyarko and Jidula Odikro as backing vocalists.

One distinct feature of Fada Ray, born as Raymond Odoom, is his voice. However, any listener may mistake his voice for that of popular gospel artiste, O.J.

He said he titled his album God’s Time because he believes it was God’s time to release it.

“I named the album God’s Time because I have encountered many difficulties before it saw the light of day,” he added.

A member of Christian Faith Church, Fada Ray who started his music career with the defunct Shepherd Christian Mission band in Tema entreated his fans to get copies of the album to “support a good Work”.
