Sponsored by Institut Francais, the 8.00 p.m. concert is expected to see the two brilliant players put the audience in what the event organisers refer to as “a hypnotic trance with a unique sonic landscape beyond African music, rock, jazz and electro.”
The duo are on an African tour that will also take them to Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina-Faso, Senegal, Gambia and Mali.
Curtain-raiser for the concert will be an Accra-based Japanese couple, Masa and Hirono, known together as Tayuta. The couple are said to offer delicate doses of soul, Afro beats, and world music fused with messages of peace and respect for mother nature.
