Thus with women getting more credence in the industry, it is not surprising that they now want more power in their hands. And in recent times, it has become a common practice for female actors especially to go into movie production.

Actress, Kafui Danku is one of such strong women taking charge in the movie industry, with her fourth movie about to hit the screens soon. In as much as they love being in front the cameras, the women equally enjoy getting behind them to take charge of affairs.

The list of such actors include Yvonne Nelson who has produced movies— If Tomorrow Never Comes, Heart of Gold and Single and Married;  Yvonne Okoro with Contract and Ghana Must Go; Zynnelle Zuh with When Love Comes Around and  Anniversary  and Lydia Forson with A Letter From Adam.

Kafui is gradually carving a niche for herself in movie production.

She has produced three movies so far - Happy Death Day, Letters to My Mother and Devil in a Dress and she is about to premiere her fourth, Any Other Monday.

Directed by Pascal Amanfo, the movie which will be showing on March 4, 5 and 6 at the Silverbird Cinemas at both the Westhills and Accra Malls features both Nigerian and Ghanaians actors such as Yvonne Nelson, Kafui Danku, Victoria Michaels, Doris Sackitey, Kunle Remi, Jose Tolbert and Selly Galley.

Any Other Monday emphasises the façade some couples put up in the bid to portray themselves as something they are not.  Who they think they are different from their true personalities and eventually secrets hidden come to bare.

Speaking to Showbiz, Kafui said: “I am very happy to have produced yet another good movie. I know movie lovers will be happy wih this one too just as they were with my other films. I pray they go to watch when it hits the screens.”
