Kontihene denies feud with Kwaw Kese
Hiplife artiste, Kontihene, has denied rumours that he has an ongoing feud with fellow hiplife, artiste, Kwaw Kese.

In an interview with Showbiz on Monday, Kontihene said his recent comments to the effect that fellow hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese, does not record songs with good content was not meant as a swipe at the Yakubu hitmaker.
Kontihene was responding to a question by Pulse TV on the likelihood of collaboration between the two artistes, and he mentioned that he doubts it will ever happen.
Kontihene said his comments were taken out of context and twisted by the media in a mischievous effort to create sensationalism.
“Sometimes when you make comments in the media, it is twisted by amateur reporters and journalists just to attract readership,” he said.
He told Showbiz that his comment was in reference to the different styles of the two artistes. “Our music styles and audience are very different and I cannot simply jump into the studio with him when our styles have nothing in common,” he said.
The Aketesia hitmaker added that he considered Kwaw Kese a very good artiste who is great in his own way but that is not a reason he would consider to record a song with him.
“We are both hiplife artistes and Kwaw Kese is very good at recording hype songs but that is not the type of songs I record. My songs are filled with meaning and are spiritual in nature,” he said.
When Kwaw Kese was contacted, he told Showbiz that he did not have a feud with Kontihene and refused to comment on Kontihene’s claims that he(Kwaw Kese) songs did not have content.

He described Kontihene’s career as long dead and as such did not merit a response from him.
The two award winning artistes, Kontihene and Kwaw Kese have had a war of words in the past. In an interview last year, Kontihene stated that he was from a well-trained home while Kwaw Kese lacked manners.
He went to state that he was better than Kwaw Kese in all regards and that the latter could not be compared to him in any aspect.
Kwaw Kese hit back at Kontihene by describing him as a woman. According to him, Kontihene was desperate for attention and he went as far as to describe Kontihene’s wedding as a publicity stunt and not a real wedding.
