Mark Okraku Mantey has failed as a politician-Bullgod
ARTISTE manager and showbiz pundit, Bullgod has said Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mark Okraku Mantey has failed as a politician thus he will contribute nothing to Ayensuano constituency if he wins the seat as MP on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP).

Speaking on the show, Bullgod said apart from political talks, Mr Okraku Mantey has done nothing for the creative sector since he took office some four years ago and this should be a red flag for the constituents of Ayensuano in the Eastern Region.
"The people of his constituency should not even waste their time to vote for him because he will not bring about any change.
"Look, I respect Mark 100 percent as a person and what he has done for the entertainment industry as an individual but when it comes to governance, he will score no points from me.
"He has done nothing in office for four years in government so as MP, what is he going to do there? He is not worthy of that space because he has contributed nothing to our sector", he said.
He goes on to say, all Mr Okraku Mantey does is to give one excuse after the other and defend very ambitious promises.
"Last year for instance, his ministry came out to say they will build five amphitheatres by December and when it was it was pointed out to him that might be too ambitious, Mr Okraku Mantey was very defensive.

"Meanwhile, till date not even one has been built. This is why I say if he wins the seat as MP, he will not bring anything new to that constituency", he satated.
According to Bullgod, Mr Okraku mantey has disappointed him so much as a politician that he is even ready to campaign against him when he seeks the mandate of the people of Ayensuano.
“Infact, I will go there to campaign against him when he launches his campaign because he won’t bring about any change there. If the roads are bad, they will remain so, he will add nothing. What has he done for the creative industry? He will do same as MP”, he said.
He however, went to on to say his admiration for Mr Okraku Mantey as an individual and what he did for the creative sector before he took office as deputy minister is still intact.

“Please, nobody should get me wrong. This is Mark the politician I am talking about here, I mean Mark in office but ask me about the man before he went into governance and I will tell you how amazing he was.
"He was very good at what he did, he achieved a lot for the industry, he's my mentor but as a politician, he is a disappointment to me”, he added.
