Money, women cause breakups of groups —Sobolo Geng

According to Sobolo Geng, their position is based on years of research and observation and were determined not to allow money and women bring confusion among them.

“At the moment, it appears music groups are nonexistent in Ghana. One can count the number of music groups in the country now, they were uncountable not too long ago.
“We admired some of them and wished they were still very active but unfortunately, the groups’ vibe is missing in the industry at the moment.
“We always tell ourselves that the group first before any other thing whether money, women or anything else for that matter and we hope to abide by that”, said Billy, a member of the group to Graphic Showbiz.
He explained that in order to keep the group going and together, they always remind themselves of why they came together and where they want to go.
The group was formed in 2020 by its members— Billy (Bismark Owusu), J Song (Dennis Mensah Bonsu), and Egudie (Maxwell Owusu).
Sobolo Geng officially released their first song Yewo Krom on January 21, 2020 and followed it up with Kasoa which gave them a lot of recognition especially at Kasoa where they live.
