MzGee, Jeneral Ntatia, others nominated for Medimafo Ghana Arts and Entertainment awards
The organisers of the Medimafo Ghana Arts and Entertainment Awards have revealed the nominees for the 6th edition of the prestigious awards scheme.

A total of 33 categories are up for grabs, recognising excellence in various aspects of the entertainment industry.
In the highly anticipated Woman of the Year category, MzGee, Emefa Akosua Adeti, Abena Kyei Boakye, and Rose Adjei are set to compete for the top honour.
Meanwhile, the Man of the Year category will see Jeneral Ntatia, Nana Kwame Gyan, Prophet Isaac Appiah, and Papa Kumasi vying for the award.
The Best Actress category promises to be a thrilling contest, with Doreen Kumangtun, Elorm Aba, Lady Harriet, and Mimi Yankson all nominated for the coveted crown.
Other notable nominees include Ama Sarpong Kumakuma, Dabo, Selasie Brown, Jerry Botwe, Asafo Powers, Quecy Official, Honam Sardine, Nana Ama Brako, Cilla Sarps, and Nayas, among others. The awards ceremony promises to be an exciting celebration of talent and achievement in Ghana's entertainment industry.
Medimafo Ghana Arts and Entertainment Awards CEO, Cecilia Gyase Konamah, also known as Abena Ghana, addressed the media to share key details about the upcoming awards.
She revealed that voting commenced on August 9 and will end on September 9, 2024. Konamah extended congratulations to all nominees and hinted at exciting developments, saying, "We have a lot of surprises in store for this year's edition.

The 6th edition, under the theme "Love and Unity," is slated to take place on September 20 at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly Auditorium (Accra City Hall).
Some of the categories include Best News Anchor, Best Movie, Best Executive Producer of the Year, Face of TV Commercial, Discovery of the Year, and Blogger of the Year, among others.
