Praise on the 6th Floor at National Theatre tomorrow
THE National Theatre will be transformed into a praise and worship centre when Gospel singer, Reverend Paa Joe (PJ) Markwei hosts his Praise on the 6th Floor concert on Saturday, June 17.
The upcoming concert is unique for the singer/pastor as it marks the celebration of his 60th birthday which fell on April 15.

As such, he is joining forces with some of his colleagues including Pastor Edwin Dadson, Pastor Isaiah Ofosu Kwakye Jnr, Perez Musik, Monarch’s Praise and Joyful Way Incorporated to give thanks to the Most High.
According to Rev. Markwei who has been in the music ministry for over 40 years, it is a privilege to appreciate God for his life and most importantly, His guidance in his six decades of existence on earth.
He will therefore be crowning the celebration with the launch of a new album, Todah, which will be recorded live at the Praise on the 6th Floor concert. The publicised artistes feature on Todah.
Songs on the album include Oseye ft Joyful Way Incorporated, Sane Kpakpa and title track, Todah.
Todah, is the Hebrew word for ‘thank you’ and Reverend Markwei said it is an “appreciation token” to his Maker for His guidance all these years.
“It’s good to appreciate those who do good to you and for me, God has done so much for me that I can’t be silent but let Him know my ‘thank you’. This is the core of this celebration and I want the world to celebrate with me,” he said.
