Rising Afro Hip-Hop Star KFT urges Ghanaian music fans to embrace new sounds

Ghanaian-Canadian Afro Hip-Hop artist, Kwasi Ofosu, better known by his stage name "KFT", has urged music lovers in Ghana to diversify their music preferences in order to support the growth and expansion of the industry.

KFT, who recently embarked on a media tour in Ghana to promote his new single "Odo Nwom" (Love Song), expressed his concern that Ghanaian music fans are not open to new sounds, limiting opportunities for artists in other genres.

The rising star believes that expanding the industry requires a willingness to explore new sounds and a greater openness to artists from the diaspora. "Sometimes I wish Ghanaians would be receptive to artistes like myself in the diaspora. I believe listening to other sounds grows the industry and opens new opportunities for artistes to excel internationally," KFT said during a recent interview.

KFT's latest release, "Odo Nwom," has been well received by music lovers who appreciate the artist's authentic and dynamic sound. The EP "Heart Break Story," which he released two years ago, also received critical acclaim.

The artist, who has recently signed with New Revolution Records, hopes that his message will encourage music lovers in Ghana to embrace new sounds and support the growth and success of the industry.
