The Level 400 student who shot to fame in 2008 when he won the Song Writing Competition organised by the Local Organising Committee for the CAN Competition in that year believes it’s time for the world to hear the goodness of God in his life.

In his new song, Ese, which is a rendition of the popular Nigerian Ese song, Stevein oil sums up his gratitude to God on the piece.

While he flows with his soothing voice on Ese, the experienced works of renowned instrumentalists such as Zapp Mallet, Philip Aquah, Owura, Bludo Junior comes to play on the quality of sound produced.

Recorded by Ike Waveward in Asylum, Accra,  with the arrangements by Horst Koranteng, Steven oil believes he has got a quality work to give him some recognition on the gospel scene.

Even though Steven had longed wished for a breakthrough in his music career, he said that he was caught up in many endeavours which hindered the scheduled release of the song two years ago.

He, however, expressed his delight that the song has been released and also expressed his appreciation to the people who assisted him to make his “dream a reality”.

“It’s not been an easy journey here. Juggling schooling with other important projects such as this one is quite a huge task but I have set my target high and working hard to achieve it,” he stated.
