They came to laugh

Until the last yuletide, many Ghanaians doubted if the country had any comedians to match Nigeria.

But everything changed during the Night of 1019 Laughs and Music which turned up some of the biggest names in comedy and music, who came together to give patrons a splendid performance.  

The Night of 1019 Laughs & Music came off at the Accra International Conference Centre, Ghana. The comedians billed for the night comprised, Odogwu, Akopororo, Salvador, Gordons and DKB.

 Musicians for the night were: Manifest, Okyeame Kwame and No Tribe. From the moment Amanda Jissih, MC for the night kicked the show started; it was never a dull moment.

To say that all the comedians and musicians performed admirably will be an understatement as the faces of members of the audience here bear witness. 

 The star of the show, to many patrons, was former Big Brother Housemate, DKB, who took jabs at some celebrities and made jokes about everyday aspects of Ghanaian lives leaving the audience holding their ribs with laughter.
