Stonebwoy, Edem for Mzbel’s ‘Red Carpet’
The plush Silver Lounge in Accra Mall, attracted the Crème de la Crème in the music industry last Wednesday when Saucy Girl singer, Mzbel, officially launched her Red Carpet show scheduled for Saturday, February 7, at the National Theatre.

The event which saw in attendance other musicians such as 4X4, VVIP and Stonebwoy was to announce the artistes who will perform at the Red Carpet show next month.
The artistes billed to support the Kiss Me hit maker are Screw face, Stonebwoy, Dobble, Trigmatic, Guru, Abena Ruthy, Paulina Oduro, and Edem.
The others are Luther, Quame Zaggy, AJ Nelson, Kesse, Raquel, MzVee, Danny Beatz & Ticles, Quata, 4x4, VVIP and Kobi Rana.
The show, themed, “The Battle of Sexes” according to Mzbel, is a “silent battle between the male and the females” on the night.
“Just imagine Quame Zaggy coming face to face with MzVee on a stage. That is more like Dancehall vs Hi-life. I believe providing such platforms will help grow the industry,” she stated.
She gave her fans a taste of her “maturity” when she performed at the Becca Girl Talk Show last December and for Mzbel, the Red Carpet show is just the right opportunity to prove to her many fans that she is back to serious music business.
Apart from music and choreography performances, Mzbel also expressed her anticipation of a great show with some surprise acts she didn’t divulge to the media.

Mzbel recounted her journey in music a decade ago when she released her debut album, Awoso Me, and since then, has grown to become one of the known faces on the hip life and rap scene.
She expressed her appreciation to her fans for the reception accorded her when she returned to active music last year.
For her, it is evidence of the unflinching support she has earned for her talent and music.
She also thanked the artistes present who pledged their solidarity for the concert and the celebration of her 10 years anniversary as an artiste.
Real name, Nana Akua Amoah, Mzbel is known for songs such as Awoso Me, Kiss Me, 16 years and Saucy Girl.
