Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2015 take off

The year has gone full cycle and soon, what is arguably Ghana’s most prestigious awards, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, will be staged to award deserving musicians and music industry players in the country and beyond.

This week, the organisers, Charterhouse, began the process of the awards by inviting musical works for this year’s competition scheduled for April, this year.

This year’s event is the 16th edition and the orgnisers are inviting works from musicians for works that were released between January 1st to December 31st 2014 for nomination.

According to the organisers, “artistes and artistes managers may download nomination forms from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards website – www.ghanamusicawards.com or pick up forms from the Charterhouse office at North Industrial Area.”

This year, the general public has been given the opportuity to also nominate their favourite artistes and songs.

“ Deadline for submission of entries is February 1, 2015”, the organisers said.
