Top 5 fashion ‘fails’ at VGMA 24
Arguably one of the biggest nights not just in the Ghanaian music industry but the entertainment industry at large, the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) has been a good spot for fashion buffs to showcase their unique outfits.
And at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) last Saturday, May 6, the Red Carpet hosted A-listers from the entertainment space dressed in their most extravagant and dazzling looks.

Nana Ama McBrown, Nadia Buari, Piesie Esther, Sarkodie, Black Sherif, Amerado, Anita Akuffo, James Gardiner among others gave the occasion a beautiful flair with their styles.
Numerous fashion faux pas and sartorial disasters, including exaggerated ruffles, weird colour combinations, clashing patterns, and weirdly shaped outfits, were on display at the VGMA.
Here are our top five fashion fails from celebrities whose choice of outfit for the night failed to impress.
Baring it all is DJ Azonto who came in with the worst fashion calculation. He showed up on the red carpet in a feminine low-cost Barbie look and long nails that got tongues wagging.
Many questions remained unanswered after Kwabena Kwabena's VGMA appearance. The 'Adult Music' hitmaker showed up at this year's VGMA in what appeared to be a feminine outfit- a glittering blouse and pants.
Socialite and fashion influencer Chris Ayomide Nunies had a boring red carpet entrance wearing an outfit with strange colour combinations and clashing patterns. Quite a flop!

Berla Mundi is known for always showing up at any event in an almost flawless yet decent outfit, but her glittery gown and hood outfit that showed her cleavage was quite off for her fans. From social media comments, it seems Berla missed the mark this time.
And finally, Rapper Medikal showed up at the venue as the male version of American rapper Doja Cat!
The 24th annual VGMAs organised by Charterhouse undoubtedly offered excitement and joy to winners, leaving contenders who lost clearly disappointed while rewarding fans and patrons with electrifying performances from their favourite artistes.
