Angola's Dos Santos 'to name successor'

One of Africa's longest serving presidents, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, is expected to announce his successor tomorrow, reports South Africa's News 24 news site.
Mr Dos Santos has ruled Angola since 1979.
He is also expected to confirm that he will not be standing in the 2017 presidential election, the report says.

It predicts that the current defence minister Joao Lourenco will be announced as Mr dos Santos's successor.
